You will spend the morning aboard the Atlantide 2, a boat designed to minimise its acoustic signature, thereby reducing noise as much as possible when approaching and observing cetaceans.

An absolutely unforgettable experience! Whilst on holiday in Menton, we went on a boat trip to Monaco to spot whales, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The crew were incredible: welcoming, passionate and engaging; they all took the time to explain everything to us and answer all our questions. We were lucky enough to see dozens of dolphins, and even a cachalot. A rare sighting – it’s only happened twice this season!

Monaco is located at the heart of the Pelagos Sanctuary, a protected marine area rich in cetaceans such as dolphins, whales, sperm whales and other rorquals. It is possible to observe them by taking a few-hour excursion into the heart of the sanctuary from Monaco harbor.
It is possible to observe dolphins year-round off the coast of Monaco; however, the best observation period is between May and September, during the warmest months.

Nature is unpredictable, and the dolphins may be shy. If no dolphins are sighted, we will offer you a complimentary place on the ‘Monaco by Sea’ cruise (valid on a date proposed by MRN).
